The voter registration gap between the Republican Party of Florida and the Florida Democratic Party is deepening. As of the end of June, the GOP counted 5,257,407 registered voters, while the Democratic Party had 4,300,964, according to the latest figures from the state Division of Elections.

This 956,443-voter advantage marks a continued expansion of the Republican lead in the Sunshine State.

Just two months earlier, in April, the GOP held a 906,551-voter advantage.

In addition to these numbers, as of June 30, there were 3,507,230 registered voters without party affiliation and 365,009 registered with third parties.

Historically, Democrats held the lead in voter registration in Florida, but Republicans surpassed them in 2021.

Currently, Republicans occupy all statewide offices and dominate both the state legislature and Florida’s congressional delegation.
