Tips to Save Gas:

  • Drive Smoothly: Avoid aggressive driving habits like rapid acceleration and braking, which can significantly reduce fuel efficiency.
  • Maintain Proper Tire Pressure: Keeping your tires properly inflated can improve your gas mileage by up to 3%.
  • Combine Errands: Plan your trips efficiently to avoid unnecessary driving and save fuel.
  • Use Cruise Control: On long highway trips, using cruise control can help maintain a steady speed and improve fuel economy.
  • Lighten the Load: Remove any unnecessary weight from your vehicle, as extra weight can decrease fuel efficiency.
  • Shop Around for Gas: Gas prices can vary between stations, so take a few minutes to compare prices in your area.
  • Consider a Fuel-Efficient Vehicle: If you’re in the market for a new car, consider a hybrid or electric vehicle to save on fuel costs in the long run.
