PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County residents displaced by Hurricanes Milton and Helene can now apply for FEMA’s Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA) program. This program provides temporary housing in hotels for eligible homeowners and renters for up to 90 days.

Who is eligible?

TSA is available to those who are currently living in shelters, vehicles, or at their place of employment due to hurricane damage.

How to apply:

Assistance is available in multiple languages. If you require communication services like video relay or captioned telephone, provide FEMA with your specific service number.

What you need to apply:

  • Current phone number
  • Pre-disaster address and current address
  • Social Security number
  • List of damages and losses
  • Banking information (for direct deposit)
  • Insurance information (if applicable)
