Self-employed Floridians, including artists, musicians, and mechanics, who suffered losses due to Hurricanes Milton, Helene, or Debby may be eligible for FEMA assistance. This aid can help replace essential tools and equipment damaged by the storms.

To qualify, individuals must be residents of or work in a FEMA-designated county for Individual Assistance and have incurred damage or losses not covered by insurance.

Eligible items include computers, power tools, art supplies, musical instruments, and uniforms.

To apply, individuals can visit DisasterAssistance.gov, use the FEMA App, or call 800-621-3362. Applicants will need to provide documentation proving self-employment, insurance information, and itemized receipts or estimates for repair or replacement of damaged items.
