Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Brooksville Tuesday

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 63-year-old Brooksville man was hit and killed by a pickup truck Monday afternoon.

Around 2:15 PM. Tuesday, a pickup truck, driven by an 81-year-old Brooksville man, was traveling southbound on Cedar Lane, south of SR-50. The 63-year-old man was walking a bicycle southbound along the west
shoulder of Cedar Lane.

Troopers say the truck failed to give way to the man walking, and the pickup truck struck the pedestrian, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
