RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Deputies are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a woman at gunpoint and force her into her vehicle Monday night.
According to deputies, on Monday, January 2, 2023, around 8 p.m., an unknown black male tried to rob a woman within the Allegro Palms apartment complex located in the 6500 block of Legacy Crescent Lane.
Investigators say after learning the victim did not have any money on her, the man tried to force the woman back into her vehicle, demanding she drives him to a nearby ATM.

The victim was able to get away from the suspect and attempted to seek help from the driver of an approaching vehicle.
The suspect fled the scene of the incident, running through the apartment complex.
A resident’s Ring doorbell camera footage captured the suspect running through the breezeway shortly after the incident occurred.
