FORT MYERS, Fla. – MY Shower Door and D3 Glass, two companies under the Daubmann family umbrella, have once again been recognized on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, which highlights the fastest-growing private companies in the US.
This marks the eighth time in ten years for MY Shower Door and the second year in a row for D3 Glass, a remarkable achievement considering the competition from well-known brands. Bill Daubmann, president of both companies, emphasized the difficulty for family-owned businesses to achieve such consistent, high growth levels required for the list.
“Inc. 5000 spotlights some of the nation’s biggest and best-known brands, so it’s difficult for family-owned businesses to compete for a spot,” said Bill Daubmann, president of MY Shower Door and D3 Glass. “To have two companies make the list in back-to-back years is an incredible feat because you need to sustain high levels of growth year after year.”

D3 Glass, founded in 2012, specializes in glass fabrication, tempering, and lamination. It ranked 3,172 on the list with a 156% three-year growth rate.
MY Shower Door, established in 2003, designs, manufactures, and installs frameless shower doors and enclosures. With ten showrooms across Florida and North Carolina, it secured the 4,086th spot with a 110% growth rate.
Both companies, headquartered in Fort Myers, are led by the Daubmann family and a team of executives, managers, and employees, totaling 167 individuals.
Locally, D3 Glass and MY Shower Door were ranked the 10th and 11th fastest-growing companies in Southwest Florida, respectively.
“Whether you’re a homeowner, homebuilder or commercial contractor, MY Shower Door provides stunning shower solutions and exceptional customer service,” Daubmann said. “Customers have trusted us for two decades, and our success proves that a family-owned business can compete against online retailers and national companies. When you do right by your team and your customers, they do right by you.”
