A shooting at a Trump rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, has left one attendee dead and the shooter deceased, according to the Butler County District Attorney.
Details surrounding the incident are still emerging, but authorities have confirmed that a single shooter opened fire at the rally, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to former President Trump.
Secret Service agents surrounded Trump, and he was immediately taken to a local medical facility for treatment.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow,” said Steven Cheung, Trump’s spokesperson.
The identities of the victims and the shooter have not yet been released.
Federal and local law enforcement agencies are on the scene conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting and gather further information about the events that transpired.
House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote on social media: “This horrific act of political violence at a peaceful campaign rally has no place in this country and should be unanimously and forcefully condemned.”
