HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 48-year-old man from Gibsonton lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 late Sunday night.
The incident occurred at 10:47 pm. just east of Milepost 18, where the driver of a Cadillac Escalade lost control of the vehicle.

Troopers say that the Escalade veered off the roadway and collided with a light pole.
Sadly, the driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
