HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to a commercial structure fire on N. Falkenburg Rd. in Tampa this afternoon.
At approximately 4:40 PM, multiple 911 callers reported an electrical smell and visible smoke emanating from a one-story commercial building.
HCFR’s first unit arrived on scene within six minutes of dispatch and confirmed an active fire. Firefighters immediately initiated an aggressive interior attack, bringing the fire under control in 30 minutes and achieving full extinguishment shortly thereafter.

There were no injuries to civilians, workers, or firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
