CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department personnel responded to a house fire at 5:30 a.m. at 1000 Carlton St.

Officials say the house sustained serious damage, but there were no injuries.

The Red Cross is assisting three adults and two children who were displaced. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
