CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – On Friday, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office started their investigation into an armed robbery that happened early Friday morning.
Deputies say at approximately 5:57 AM, an unidentified suspect entered the Sunoco Convenience Store located at 6971 W Gulf to Lake Hwy in Crystal River armed with a handgun and demanded the cash drawer.
“The suspect appears to be a black male, approximately 20 years of age, between 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing a hooded grey and black jacket with a red stripe in front, black jeans, black face mask, black cap, and black socks with white slides,” said CCSO.
He was last seen in a blue Ford sedan possibly a Fusion with an unknown tag.
