HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 32-year-old Brooksville man was killed in a crash that happened around 2:48 pm on Friday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling southbound on US-41, south of CR-445.
Troopers say the pedestrian was walking northbound in the southbound lane of US-41 in the path of truck which was negotiating a curve in the roadway.

The vehicle struck the pedestrian before coming to a controlled stop along the west shoulder of the roadway.
The 32-year-old man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
