ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – The Tampa Bay Lightning will host the inaugural Bolts Hockey Fest this weekend. It will feature 18 youth teams from three age groups and 14 adult teams from three divisions battling for outdoor hockey supremacy.
The tournament will feature ball and roller hockey games played on rinks sized to 50 percent of NHL-size with boards, netting, and referees.
The event will include 3-on-3 divisions open for competitive and recreational youth along with recreational and competitive adult divisions. Roster sizes are set at a maximum of seven players (nine players for the 8-and-under division).
In addition to the street hockey tournament, the event will also feature music, food & beverage trucks, games, giveaways, as well as a Lightning Watch Party when the Bolts take on the Winnipeg Jets across the Bay at AMALIE Arena.
