PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – An Auburndale man is dead and several people injured in a crash that happened Friday around 8:57 pm.

According to troopers, a Honda CB500 motorcycle was traveling on northbound SR-39 at a high rate of speed.

While attempting to pass multiple northbound vehicles in a no-passing zone south of Pattie Road, the motorcycle crashed head-on into a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The motorcycle overturned before colliding with a guardrail and bursting into flames.
