Take heart America. You won’t have soccer player Megan Rapinoe to kick you around anymore.

Rapinoe, one of America’s wokest professional athletes, apparently won’t have a springboard to badmouth the country that made her a global soccer star as she has been left off the U.S. Women’s national soccer team, according to Breitbart News.

The team’s head coach, Vlatko Andonovski, is looking for youth to make the next bid for a World Cup and Olympic gold.

Andonovski recently announced the new roster ahead of the SheBelieves Cup, an international tournament later this month in California and Texas that will also feature the national teams of the Czech Republic, New Zealand, and Iceland.

Rapinoe and longtime star Alex Morgan were booted from the new iteration of the U.S. team.

Rapinoe, now 36, was one reason that the women’s team average age at the 2021 Olympics was nearly 31, the oldest Olympic roster ever, according to the Associated Press.

That was six years older than the team, with almost the same roster, that won the World Cup just two years earlier.

Last year at the Olympics in Tokyo, the U.S. women were heavy favorites to capture the goal.

But, as Breitbart noted, “Rapinoe and her merry band of wokesters then lost to Canada before squeaking by Australia and securing a disappointing bronze medal.”

Rapinoe, a purple-haired lesbian, has been particularly outspoken about her politics.

She has long led the team in Kaepernick-style kneeling for the national anthem and prior to games, including during the Olympics last year. In March 2021, she also appeared alongside President Joe Biden to complain about the women’s team not receiving the same pay as the men’s team, even though analysts showed the men’s team generates vastly more revenue.

ATM. The trio hasn’t been that impressive the last couple years. The Olympics proved it. Glad to see her gone.

A bronze medal is a disappointment? Tell that to other countries that didn’t even come close. This article was by far the dumbest thing I’ve read in 2022 so far, congratulations!

Quite whining! People watch Athletic events for the sports and competition not Political comment! Everything in America is made political these days. Sports used to be the quite place! No more! I stopped watching all sports 3 years ago because of this! It’s actually great and refreshing. I walk and read more.

I used to watch the US Women’s National Team every time they played and encouraged the players that I coach to do the same. It was awesome to feel the energy that the US fans gave them and then the players absorbing that energy and playing with such passion. There seemed to be so much appreciation. I wanted to watch soccer to escape from politics/news. The USWNT & USMNT both gave me such pride in our USA. But, I DID get tired of Rapinoe and some of her teammates using the platform that this country gave her, and then chastised us. Over time, and after being “lectured” by Rapinoe and others about how awful and unfair the US is, I found that I no longer was interested in watching. It was kind of a sad thing, but I don’t enjoy feeling as though I’m being beraded by athletes that I am supporting. I have also stopped watching the NBA for the most part and NASCAR as well as the NFL. So now I watch English Pemier League (soccer/Football), MLS, College football and sports where the athletes/advertisers and talking heads are not trying to manipulate me into believing one way or another. Does anyone feel this way? I’d love to know.

Liberal HATE AMERICAN athletes are doing their best to bring the US to its knees There is much to enjoy in life other than watch a bunch over OVER PAID-HYPED whining athletes. NBA, NFL, MLB, who really NEEDS THEM? I don’t waste valuable time on them.

    Yep, author is an idiot.

The coach has already said he wanted to give international experience to younger players, and that this is an opportunity to do that rather than during games that will actually matter.

As for a bronze being a disappointment – let me know the last time the men’s team won a tournament. Hell, let me know when they qualify for a major tournament.

Have enjoyed the women’s game for many years. There has been a good blend of veteran and younger players. I hope this decision is based entirely on sound team building and not due to any political / social opinions. Go U S A !!!
