Arizona Woman Sentenced To 15 Years For Stabbing Death Of Her Husband

Terri Lynn Victor, a 43-year-old member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe from Peridot, Arizona, was sentenced to 15 years in prison on August 26, 2024.

U.S. District Judge Diane J. Humetewa also ordered three years of supervised release following Victor’s prison term.

Victor pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on February 14, 2024, after fatally stabbing her husband in the chest during the late-night hours of July 6, 2022, and into the early morning of July 7, 2022.

The investigation into the case was conducted by the San Carlos Apache Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Dimitra Sampson and Vinnie Lichvar from the District of Arizona handled the prosecution.
