SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – A woman under the influence, ran a red light in St. Peterburg this afternoon and took a man’s life. A pickup truck, driven by a 28-year-old female, from St. Petersburg was traveling southbound on 66th Street North.

A motorized scooter, driven by a 64-year-old St. Peterburg man was traveling westbound on 54th Avenue North. At the intersection, the pickup truck ran the red light and collided with the scooter. The 64-year-old man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. Florida Highway Patrol Troopers later arrested Kaitlyn Ann Sauer, 28, for DUI Manslaughter, possession of a Controlled Substance, and Violation of Probation-Burglary.
