ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – An apparent road rage incident led to a man being shot on Thursday, according to police.

Investigators say at 4:40 PM, police received a call of a man shot on 94th Av N, one block west of 4th St.

He has non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at the hospital, according to police.

“It is early in the investigation, but preliminary information indicates it was an apparent road rage situation. The suspect left the scene,” said St. Petersburg Police Department in a statement.
