SARASOTA COUNTY, FL. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office responded with the Florida Highway Patrol on a fatality crash involving a SCAT Bus and a motorcycle in the area of Clark Road and Lawton Drive in Sarasota.
According to SCSO, no passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.
All Westbound lanes of Clark Road were shut down at McIntosh Road for the duration of the investigation, but have reopened.
Motorists were encouraged to avoid this area and to seek alternate routes if traveling along Clark Road.
