HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 78-year-old Riverview man was killed around 9:50 a.m. in a single-vehicle crash in Tampa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling on the northbound I-75 exit ramp to westbound Fowler Avenue.
Troopers say for an unknown reason, the man’s car departed the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and collided with a concrete drainage ditch.
FHP says that the man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
