BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – A 33-year-old Brooksville woman was killed in a crash that happened on Croom Road just after 6 PM Sunday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old woman was stopped, in an SUV, on a private driveway when she turned onto Croom Road and into the path of a pickup truck.

Troopers say the front of the SUV collided with the left side of the pickup truck.

The woman was transported to a local hospital but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The pickup truck driver, a 25-year-old Brooksville man, and passenger, a 4-year-old Brooksville girl, sustained no injuries in the crash.
