BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Recently, Hernando County Commissioner Jeff Holcomb, Brent Lowman of The Lowman Family Foundation, and Hernando County Facilities staff have been working together to establish a monument in memory of Hernando County’s fallen in the Global War on Terrorism during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

An Unveiling Ceremony will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 3 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the Global War on Terrorism Monument on the Hernando County Courthouse courtyard located at 20 N. Main Street in Brooksville. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Hernando County Government Facebook page.
