TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police Department responded to a shooting incident on Tuesday, around 1:00 PM. The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a teenage male with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Initial investigations suggest an altercation preceded the shooting.
