Wactor was tragically shot on May 25th after finishing his shift at a bar. He encountered three individuals attempting to steal his car’s catalytic converter. During the confrontation, Wactor was shot “without provocation.”

Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, recently called on Mayor Karen Bass and District Attorney George Gascón to take action to strengthen the criminal justice system.
