An Alabama woman has been sentenced to 87 months (over seven years) in federal prison for her role in a conspiracy to possess and distribute a significant amount of methamphetamine.

On June 17, 2024, U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey U. Beaverstock handed down the sentence to Christian Ikenya Amir Lewis of Moss Point after she pleaded guilty to the charges.

Court documents reveal that on January 22, 2020, officers with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force stopped a vehicle driven by Lewis on Interstate 65 in Baldwin County. During the stop, officers discovered approximately ten pounds of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
