DOVER, Fla. – A devastating two-alarm fire engulfed a commercial structure at 3223 Sydney Dover Road on Sunday afternoon, tragically claiming the life of one civilian.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue received multiple calls around 4:45 PM reporting flames and smoke billowing from the building. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully engulfed structure and immediately launched a defensive attack to contain the blaze.

Once it was safe to enter the building, firefighters discovered a civilian victim who had succumbed to the fire’s intense conditions. No injuries to first responders have been reported.

Fire investigators are currently on the scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
