This vital program helps ensure the safety of elementary school children walking to and from school.

The Sheriff’s Office Needs You Especially In:

  • Lake Wales
  • Lakeland
  • Fort Meade
  • Bartow
  • Highland City

What to Expect:

  • Work schedule: Typically, 1 hour in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon when assigned a crossing.
  • Responsibilities: Ensuring the safe passage of children across designated roadways near schools.
