ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Police in St. Petersburg are investigating a shooting after a man sought help at a local barbershop Friday.

According to investigators, at 4:36 pm, a man with a gunshot wound drove to a barbershop at 3600 18th Ave S. to ask for assistance.

Police say the man suffered a non-life-threatening wound and is at the hospital.

Investigators are working g to determine where the shooting occurred.

No suspects are in custody, police say.
