A 22-year-old California man was arrested Saturday during Fantasy Fest in Key West for jumping on the hood of a Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle.
Beau Justin Burgess of Santa Monica was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and disturbing the peace.
Two Sheriff’s Office members were on patrol at the corner of Fleming and Duval Streets at approximately 9:40 p.m. when they observed Burgess jumping on the hood of the vehicle.

Burgess fled on foot but was apprehended a short time later.
The hood of the patrol vehicle sustained minor damage. Burgess was taken to jail.
