TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash at Courtney Campbell Ramp to SR-60.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash at Courtney Campbell Ramp to SR-60.

According to police, at 3:14 a.m. Thursday, Tampa Police Officers responded to the Courtney Campbell Causeway in reference to a single-vehicle car crash.

Officers arrived on the scene and found a 2001 Ford Explorer rolled over.

One adult male who was ejected from the vehicle was located and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Courtney Campbell Causeway was temporarily closed because of this incident. All lanes have now been reopened.
