SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a vehicle fire at the southbound 184-mile marker.

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office was assisting the Florida Highway Patrol with a vehicle fire at the southbound 184-mile marker. 

As a result, I-75 southbound was closed at River Rd. but has since reopened. Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible due to lane closures.
