CLEARWATER, Fla- Clearwater Police are on scene of a single-vehicle crash at Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard and Mercury Avenue. A car with four people inside veered out of control and struck a power pole, resulting in downed power lines across Gulf-to-Bay.

All lanes of Gulf-to-Bay are closed as Duke Energy makes repairs, which could take hours. No injuries were reported. The crash occurred at 3:45 a.m. Drivers will have to take alternate routes for their morning commute. 

Eastbound lanes of Gulf-to-Bay have reopened, along with one westbound lane.
