WAUCHULA, FL. – Hardee County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Monday, April 11, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on a vehicle for illegal tint and expired registration.
Deputies say that probable cause existed to enter the vehicle, and upon searching it, deputies located 68.1 grams of methamphetamine, and 283.1 grams of cannabis. A 9 mm handgun, along with ammunition and a glass smoking pipe were also found.
Because of this, $2,500 worth of drugs will not be on the streets,” said Hardee County Sheriff’s Office.
The following individuals were arrested:
Anthony Rico Alvarado (31)
- Trafficking of methamphetamine more than 14 grams
- Possession of cannabis more than 20 grams
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Driving while license suspended, revoked, or canceled with knowledge
Marco A. Capetillo (33)
- Felony possession of firearm / ammunition
- Possession of gun with altered serial number
Alyssa Jacklyn Rosales (24)
- Trafficking of methamphetamine more than 14 grams
- Possession of cannabis more than 20 grams
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
