ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – A man has died after a shooting that happened around 1:09 am on Tuesday, according to police.

St. Petersburg Police responded to a ‘man down’ call in the 2900 block of 17th Avenue South.

Investigators say that when officers arrived, they found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound. Police started CPR on the man, but the man died from injuries suffered.
