LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County School Board is meeting Tuesday to discuss several issues, and is expected to hear the latest updates on COVID-19 and plans to reopen schools. Not all parents and educators are thrilled about brick and mortar reopening of schools.
In a Facebook post, Polk County School Board Member, Billy Townsend said, “What I’m going to vote against is a big bang of tens of thousands of kids in one day.”
