ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – Shortly after 5 pm, St. Petersburg Police responded to a call for a person shot in the 3700 block of Manatee Dr. SE.

When officers arrived, they learned the victim had left the scene in a private vehicle.

A short time later, the victim contacted police from another location. The victim, a male, has non-life-threatening injuries, according to investigators.

This shooting is an active investigation and we will update this story as more details are released.
