HUDSON, Fla. – A fatal car accident occurred around 6:47 am on Thursday, November 14th, at the intersection of Poe Drive and Little Road.
A 77-year-old Hudson woman driving a Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on Poe Drive when she attempted to turn left onto Little Road. Unfortunately, her vehicle entered the path of a southbound Honda CRV driven by a 23-year-old Weeki Wachee man.

The Hudson woman was transported to a local hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash. The driver of the Honda CRV sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, troopers say.
