66-Year-Old Pasco County Man Dies Overnight in Motorcycle Accident

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla.- A 66-year-old-man from New Port Richey has died overnight in a motorcycle accident on Rowan Road, in New Port Richey.

UPDATED:

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound on Rowan Road near the intersection of Ballie Drive, where he lost control of the motorcycle, which departed the roadway and entered the center median.

Once in the median, the motorcycle overturned and the man was ejected and ended up in the southbound lanes of Rowan Road. The man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
