CITRUS COUNTY, Fl. - A 52-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed in a crash that happened around 6:30 pm Saturday night. According to Florida Highway

CITRUS COUNTY, Fl. – A 52-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed in a crash that happened around 6:30 pm Saturday night.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling northbound on US-41, north of East Pemberton Path in Citrus County.

Troopers say the driver lost control of his SUV which departed the roadway and entered the east shoulder and collided with a metal fence.

The man died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
