PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 40-year-old Dade City man has died after a crash that happened around 4:25 pm on Sunday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Dade City man was driving a Chevy Silverado pickup on SR-52 near College Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, departed the roadway, and struck a tree.

Troopers say the man was transported to an area hospital, but later died from
injuries suffered during the crash.
