A 3-year-old boy, identified as Rylo Yancy, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting at Riverland Park during a birthday party on Sunday afternoon.
Fort Lauderdale police responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots. They found the young victim at a pavilion decorated for a child’s birthday party.
Rylo was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert but was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing a vehicle speeding away from the park. Police are currently investigating the incident and searching for the shooter(s).
According to Local10, the 911 dispatch calls reflect the terror as a woman shouts, “A baby just got shot!”
They have confirmed that Rylo was an innocent victim of a drive-by shooting.
