PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 24-year-old New Port Richey man was killed Thursday night crossing Shady Hills Road.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 61-year-old Spring Hill woman was driving an SUV northbound on Shady Hills Road approaching Platinum Drive, around 8:30 PM.
Troopers say that the New Port Richey man was walking eastbound across the roadway and into the path of the vehicle.
The man was transported to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries.
