PASCO COUNTY, FL– Now more than ever, your donation can help a Pasco student in need put their best foot forward!  The fifth annual Two Good Soles Shoe and Sock Drive is underway, with Pasco County Government and Constitutional Offices working together during this time of unprecedented challenges to collect footwear for kids in Pasco County Schools through October 26, 2020.

You can drop off donations in collection boxes at Pasco County Government locations and the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller, Property Appraiser and Tax Collector offices countywide.

“This year’s Two Good Soles comes at a critical time for many families,” said Pasco Community Services Director Brian Hoben. “We’re seeing increased need across the board in all of our programs and we know first-hand that children are directly affected by these hardships. Your generosity can change a child’s life.”

Last year’s record-setting drive resulted in 3,057 pairs of shoes and 13,285 pairs of socks donated.  Since 2016, the Two Good Soles drive has collected 7,568 pairs of shoes and 24,737 pairs of socks, which social workers distribute to Pasco students.

Pasco County Government and school social workers collaborated on a video highlighting the constant need for footwear and the impact these donations have on kids in our community.  Despite the growing numbers of donations, the shoes and socks are all gone within a few months.

All collected footwear will be donated to Pasco County Schools at the end of October, directly benefitting local students.
