TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a two-time convicted felon and gang member in Tampa.
According to deputies, on June 8, 2023, HCSO arrested Hamzah Samir Othman, 28, after failing his probation check.
Through investigative means, HCSO detectives received intel that Othman, a convicted felon, was in possession of firearms and established a search warrant for his residence on Fawnridge Circle in Tampa.

The following items were recovered as a result of the search warrant:
- Six Firearms
- $5,000 in U.S. Currency
- Audemars Piguet watch (valued at approximately $60,000)
- Patek Phillipe Nautilus watch (valued at approximately $50,000)
- Money Counting Machine
- 42.1 grams Crack Cocaine (street value approximately $5,000)
- 17.1 grams Oxycodone
- Three Ecstasy pills (2.2 Grams)

Othman was charged with:
- Felon in Possession of a Firearm (X6)
- Armed Trafficking in Cocaine
- Armed Trafficking in Oxycodone
- Armed Possession of Ecstasy
