PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 21-year-old Zephyrhills man and 65-year-old Williamstown, NY, woman, were killed in a crash Sunday morning around 6:45 AM.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Zephyrhills man was driving an SUV westbound on Eiland Boulevard, east of Skipper Lane.
Troopers say the man crossed the center line entering the eastbound lane and crashed nearly head-on with the NY woman’s car.
Investigators say the SUV overturned post impact and the car struck a mailbox before coming to a stop.
The NY woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash, according to FHP. The Zephyrhills man was transported to a local hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash.
