14-Year-Old Tampa Runaway, Rush Markun, Found Safe

TAMPA, FL. – Rush Markun, a 14-year-old runaway in Tampa, has been located safe, according to family members.

Tampa Police Department was seeking the public’s help in locating a runaway teen last seen on Sunday around 11:15 am.

Police say, Rush Markun, 14, 5’10, 140 pounds with short brown hair, blue eyes, and transition glasses. Rush was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jean pants, and white Nike shoes.

He may also have on a jean jacket and is on blue beach cruiser bicycle with white lettering.

Rush was last seen in the 4700 block of South Himes Avenue. He could possibly be headed to the Palm Harbor/Dunedin area.

“The Tampa Police Department and Rush’s family are concerned for his safety,” said Tampa PD in a social post.
